Founded in 1930, Max A. Lazarus Sr, a printer by trade, formulated specialty cleaning and rinsing solutions to clean mechanical watch and clock parts. Soon after, he created specialty products for the cleaning of gold, diamonds, precious metals, and stones.
By 1960, L&R expanded its reach, introducing the ultrasonic cleaning process to the dental, dental labs, and medical fields. Along with a full line of ultrasonic cleaning solutions for cleaning instruments, dentures, and apparatus, we became the trusted name and leader in instrument care and cleaning, establishing a worldwide distribution network.
